Conversations with Customers.

Often I wonder why I dislike people so much. Then I remember I work in retail.

Lady: *shows DVD with $29.99 price sticker on it* how much is this?

Me: um that one…it’s $29.99

Lady: is it on special?

Me: no that’s full price

Lady: why isn’t it on special?

Me: because it’s a new release.

Lady: oh alright.

3 minutes later..Same lady.

Lady: *holds up a different DVD with a $19.99 sticker* how much is this one?

Me: $19.99

Lady: I don’t understand

Me: what don’t you understand?

Lady: why is this one $19.99?

Me: that one IS on sale

Lady: oh… I see… *looks confused*

Me: so that one used to be $34.99 but now, because of the sale, it’s $19.99…get it?

Lady: I still don’t understand.

Me: what don’t you understand?

Lady: how do you know how much it is?

Me: it has a sticker?

Lady: oh forget it *storms off*
