Hello friend.
Lately I have been having interesting conversations with a new facebook friend called Carlos. He turned out to be crazy but it was fun while it lasted. Here is a play by play into our insightful conversations and how our friendship blossomed…prior to discovering that he was in fact insane.
The first day that we talked he told me that I should inbox him because he was going offline. I said no. He wrote LOL. It was fun for everyone involved. The next time we talked we were discussing what we were planning on doing the next day. The conversation went like this.
- Carlos: what are you doing tomorrow?
- Me: working, what are you doing?
- Carlos: tomorrow hmmm. I’m getting up , have a shower / shave, job hunt, inquire about 2 things at vic uni
- Me: what are you inquiring about?
- Carlos: Learning Japanese and guitar
I’m not entirely sure how things work at Vic Uni but I don’t think they would offer classes in both Japanese and Guitar. In fact, I remember him previously mentioning that he didn’t play any instruments so I’m quite confident that he was planning on learning beginners guitar at uni. I don’t think that is a class. Of course, I didn’t tell him that because that would be inappropriate. Instead I said that I needed to go and promptly went offline. The day after we had a nice discussion about being vertically challenged.
This is how that conversation played out…
- Me: I like being short. It means I can hide easily, which is a necessary skill.
- Carlos: Very true. I don’t mean to brag or anything, but I do martial arts, and I’m a lot more tactical than the other guys in the club, because they just go all out brute strength but I think things through more.
Not knowing how to respond to that either, I changed the subject to music…
- Me: what kind of music are you into?
- Carlos: Japanese rock, it’s pretty good
- Me: I disagree
- Carlos: Have you ever heard some j rock?
- Me: unfortunately yes. One of my friends like it and he sent me a link. It was painful
- Carlos: The band that I like was really really good. Woah they must have been shit then, The ones I listened to were like alternative rock / metal
- Me: language.
- Carlos: they have words in English and jap
- Me: no i mean, watch your language
- Carlos: -.- They must have been a shit band
- Me: you’re not understanding
- Carlos: they sing in Japanese
- Me: ok.
